Edido is a washing station in the Gedeb district of Yirgacheffe, southern Ethiopia. Around 800 smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherry to the station, where it is sorted and dried on raised beds. Natural lots are turned every two to three hours for the first few days and take five to six weeks to dry before being hulled and stored at altitude. The coffee comes from indigenous Ethiopian heirloom varieties.
