Finca Las Camelias sits inside the Datanlí El Diablo nature reserve in the highlands of Jinotega, Nicaragua, at around 1,100 metres. Founded in 1996, the estate covers roughly 250 manzanas, with about 120 hectares under coffee and the rest kept as forest. Yellow and red Caturra and Bourbon grow in volcanic loam soil. Cherries are hand-picked between October and February, and washing and sun-drying are done on the farm.
