The Urban family farm Fazenda Rio Brilhante in Brazil's Cerrado Mineiro, founded by Inácio Urban in 1984 and now run with his children Erika and Fernando. Over four decades they have built one of Brazil's most respected specialty estates — a 2,700-hectare property that is roughly 60% coffee and 20% native forest reserve — pairing large-scale production with a real commitment to quality and environment. Coffee is machine-harvested then hand-sorted for the ripest cherries, sun-dried on patios for about eight days and finished in rotary dryers, building a clean, sweet, remarkably consistent natural.
